25 Things I've Learnt In 25 Years!

Hi

As I turned 25 (I know...!) on Saturday, I thought I would do a round-up post of all the random, wise, profound & silly little things I've learnt about myself in the last quarter of a century.
That's disgusting, I can't believe I just wrote that...quarter of a century, ergh! It's definitely random and it probably would have been better to post it on my actual birthday, and not 6 days later, but here we are! Enjoy :)

1 - Your own personal happiness is massively important.

2 - So, make sure to do things that you love!

3 - But don't forget to listen to the advice of your family & friends, they know things.

4 - Pets are sometimes better than humans.

5 - There isn't much a good book & giant mug of tea can't fix!

6 - Duvet days will always be awesome, no matter what age I am.

7 - Stationery has its own type of happiness & joy.

8 - Friends that stick around & make an effort are like gold dust, hang on to them!

9 - It's always important to stand up for what you believe in.

10 - I can read anywhere, at any time (12hour bus in Tanzania, I'm looking at you!).

11 - Having dodgy phone signal is one of the most frustrating things ever!

12 - Trust God, always. He's got this.

13 - Working with young people can be so draining, but it's always worth it!

14 - Don't let people walk all over you. Stand up for yourself.

15 - Living at home saves so much money, but it can also be seriously frustrating.

16 - Don't follow the crowd just to fit in.

17 - Forests are my happy place.

18 - I have a physical need to go back to New York!

19 - Nights in are so much better than nights out.

20 - The people you really need will always be there for you.

21 - Prayer is immensely powerful & incredibly simple.

22 - I can quite happily lose hours, upon hours sitting in a coffee shop.

23 - Learning to say 'no' to things is super important!

24 - A good nights sleep is a top life priority.

25 - Writing is one of the best ways to unload & de-stress.

What have you learnt about yourself recently?
